I love working in this beautiful house and helping to create special flower arrangements for the various rooms.

It is important to create something that is in keeping with the house and furthermore Lady Anne Rosse was an avid arranger and had very specific ideas on designs, flowers and foliage which we all try to stick to.

During this particular Friday morning's session I was tasked to create the pedestal which sits on a dresser by the front door; this is always a coveted space as absolutely anyone who visits the house will be greeted by 'your' creation.

There is a backdrop of a beautiful tapestry in this area and I tried to echo some of the colours from that; plus the fact that we are in January and a promise of frost was on the cards... Hopefully the visiting public liked my design!
