A Festive Flower Arranging Workshop

Ten ladies - most of them totally new to flower arranging - had a most enjoyable day working with tactile material such as blue spruce, conifer, cinnamon, orange and apple slices as well as glorious Rosa 'Freedom' and snowy looking Gypsophila.

During the morning, Alicia, Angela, Faye, Helen, Honor, Linda, Lisa, Natalie, Sabina and Shirley created some stunning wreaths to either hang on their doors or place on their coffee or dining tables, while in the afternoon they got stuck in designing challenging candle table centres.

The lovely art room at Varndean College smelled totally heavenly with all that festive material and I was immensely proud of all their beautiful creations.
