'A Step Further' NAFAS workshop with Neill Strain

I was very fortunate to be allowed to take part in an advanced workshop run by floral couturist Neill Strain.

His shop in Belgravia counts Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, Joan Collins, Jose Mourinho as well as the Saudi royal family as some of his illustrious clients. Neill is famed for luxurious floral designs with bewitching colours, wild textures and a distinctively opulent style - and he sure didn't disappoint. After his hour and a half long demonstration, fifteen keen floral designers all got stuck in and created two spectacular designs. I don't often get the chance to work with Gloriosa so thoroughly enjoyed creating a tall birch sculpture as well as an opulent urn design.

Can't wait to have Neill back in Sussex again!
