Making Waves - A Flower Festival by Steyning Flower Club

Every two years, members of Steyning Flower Club take part in a flower festival in Steyning Methodist Church. This year's theme was called 'Making Waves' and fifteen designs were on show.

My double bill was entitled 'Volcanic Tsunami' and I thus created a five foot tall volcano spurting out orange flowers and a giant seven foot wave in pale and dark blues. I have to say there had been a few sleepless nights worrying about it all but all's well that ends well, and in the end I was extremely proud of my efforts!

Lots and lots of people visited the festival over the bank holiday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the varied creations...
