Twig design workshop

Jane, Sophie and Sara - all new to floral design - created some lovely intricate twig design during the first Shabulous workshop of the new year.

Weaving birch twigs into a metal framework first, they then added various other twigs, lichen, cones etc. to the design.

Everything was finished off with stunning Phalaenopsis orchids and pastel coloured tulips.

Jane and Sara decided that they wanted to hang their creations on their front doors for all to see while Sophie opted to make a table centre design instead  (when she got home, she was going to add a cream pillar candle to the design).

I was very proud of their efforts - and with good reason as they all looked simply stunning!
