Charlotte and Lloyd's Wedding

Charlotte and Lloyd chose a colour scheme of cream and emerald green for their big day, where the bridesmaids' dresses were going to match the green colour.

Charlotte loves Longiflorum lilies as well as Zantedeschia (calla lilies) so both of these were top of her floral list. She also fell in love with pictures of Rosa 'Avalanche' so we agreed that these too would be added to her cascading bouquet with some dainty Lisianthus. I included some white Hypericum berries too for added interest and form. The greenery was made up of Danae racemosa (soft ruscus) as well as flowing Asparagus setaceus (lace fern).

A little locket featuring a photo of Charlotte's mum was attached to the bouquet with a green ribbon to ensure she could keep her close at all times.

Charlotte's three bridesmaids carried posy style bouquets, again featuring a medley of cream flowers with greenery, while the buttonholes were made with a calla lily.

The wedding ceremony took place at Worthing Dome with the wedding breakfast being held at the private first floor function room of Restaurant Casa Ciro just along the road.

For the table centres we used low glass bowls with emerald green water retaining beads as well as swirls of calla lilies. The round top table had a wreath ring of cream and green with an oversized brandy glass in the centre where Longiflorum lilies lay on clear water retaining beads.

I also made a customary Floranina heart for this happy couple which featured calla lilies.

Here's wishing lovely Charlotte and Lloyd all the very, very best in their future life as husband and wife!
