Louise & Joe's Wedding

When lovely Louise came to see me for her consultation, she confirmed that for her big day at Southover Grange in Lewes she wanted to carry a cascading bouquet whilst her bridesmaids would have posy styled ones.

We settled on a white and green theme, and I created her stunning bouquet using Rosa 'Avalanche', Eustoma 'Rosita', Gypsophila, Eryngium, Hypericum, Asparagus setaceus and Danae racemosa.

Louise's maid of honour, Charlie, wore a burgundy dress while Louise's adorable daughters, Aaliyah, Karina and Maci wore ivory dresses with fur jackets; perfect for an early November wedding. Each of them carried bouquets that echoed the flowers in Louise's cascading bouquet.

The groom, bestmen and fathers had buttonholes which featured Eustoma buds, Gypsophila and Eryngium with foliage.

The reception took place at the Master Mariner in Brighton Marina and for the tables, I created floral filled jars which included burgundy Hypericum, giving a nod to Charlie's dress, as well as Gypsophila. These were placed on log slices complete with fir cones.

As ever, a Floranina heart featured in the proceedings too!

I have to say, when delivering the flowers, seeing the excited delight on the faces of Louise's girls was very special indeed and I really could not blame them for wishing to get into their wedding finery as soon as possible for their starring roles in their mum's and dad's special day...

Here's wishing the happy couple and their girls all the very, very best for the future...
