Bluebells in Stanmer Wood

How brilliant to be able to combined the weekly shop with a quick exercise session. Stanmer Woods is a few minutes by car from my house, and next to Hollingbury shopping centre, so I was able to immerse myself in these truly special woodland flowers.

The blue is such a restful shade on the eye but I have to say I was absolutely delighted to spot a few, very rare, white bells amongst all that splendour too...

So many people are not able to see bluebells this year because of the lock down restrictions, so I count myself very, very lucky!
