Holiday in my home country

Always lovely to go back to my birth country, Finland, and visit my family.

During this particular trip, I went down memory lane cruising from Helsinki to Stockholm and back, and spending a lot of time on deck gazing at the wonderful archipelago. Did you know that Finland alone has more than 180,000 islands...?!?!

Back in 1980/1981 I studied at Stockholm's University so it was really nice to return to that town for a few hours.

Scandinavia is all about nature and free spaces for a relatively small population; just the relaxation needed before a few months of hectic floral work!
