National Flower Arranging Day

Normally this is a day when flower arrangements are left on benches in towns, villages and parks for strangers to pick up and take home and enjoy, however, because of the pandemic such gestures weren't allowed this year (nor last year of course!).

Instead arrangers and designers all over the UK were encouraged to create designs to deck their front doors or gardens or gates, and Jan Crouch and I duly rose to the task and spent a very enjoyable late morning in brilliant sunshine on my patio, creating our floral rings.
