Chichester Cathedral Festival of Flowers 2018 preparation

So very delighted to have been asked to take part in the Chichester Cathedral Festival of Flowers 2018.

This biennial festival, which will run from 31 May to 2 June 2018, is an incredibly prestigious event with thousands and thousands of people filing through this very spectacular cathedral to see the various designs on show; the theme for this festival is 'This Earthly Paradise'.

The designer in charge, Jose Morum-Pound, recently allocated the various areas to her team of flower arrangers and I was very delighted to have been allocated 'Fascinating Orchids'.

I have asked fellow flower arranger Sue Clancy to work with me and we are now busy planning and design our space; Number 2 Pillar in the South Aisle!

Following a meeting with not just Jose but Jane Brickell too, Sue and I were very pleased to learn that they were happy with our proposals so it is all systems go...
