Orchids Festival @ Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew

Such a privilege to visit this festival which is now in its 22nd year - the first to be themed around India.

Stepping inside the tropical paradise of the Princess of Wales Conservatory was such a joy - what a riotous feast of colour and form!

On the day of my visit, it proved to be the hottest day of the year with Kew Gardens clocking plus 18.3 degrees... although it was a lot warmer inside the glass houses that is for sure...

I am now looking forward to penning an article of my visit which will appear in Flora International magazine soon.
