Beyond Basics Workshops

Today I took part in two workshops run by NAFAS here in Sussex; the first one was by Lyn Constable while the second one was by Colette Archer; two very accomplished demonstrators.

Two beautiful autumnal displays - for the first one learning how to creative a natural wreath using Mother Nature's wonderful larder which was then rested on a posy pad which was covered in leafing technique, and then adding a few flowers to enhance the design even further. Thank you Lyn; you gave me so many wonderful tips!

And for the second one, making a bonfire design with lichen covered sticks, Old Man's beard as 'smoke' and fiery flowers to depict the flames, adding some night lights as the glow!

I love autumnal colours, don't you!?
