Watching Wedding Preparation

I was thrilled to travel to Godmersham Park near Canterbury today to watch NAFAS National Demonstrator Jacqui Arnold prepare for the wedding of her daughter Charlotte for the Saturday.

The ceremony took place in the church of St Lawrence the Martyr, and special one off permission had been granted to allow the wedding reception to take place within the grounds of the former home of Edward Austen, brother to Jane.

Undoubtedly a lot of pressure on Jacqui to ensure the day was florally perfect but with tons of experience she pulled out all the stops and created some truly fabulous designs in vibrant colours.

A feature of my visit will appear in Flora International in due course but meanwhile I would like to wish the new Mr and Mrs Marsden all the very, very best!
